This particular wide angle two shot is a MLS, or, Medium Long Shot at eye level.  The focus is in the foreground on the two characters.  The lighting is harsh giving the scene an assumed intensity.

This particular shot is a XLS, or, Extreme Long Shot from a Birds-Eye view.  The focus appears to be soft so as to allow for the entire setting to be taken in and although it is in black and white, the contrast is stark to give the scene a certain level of intensity.

This particular shot is a BCU, or Big Close Up Shot from a low angle.  The focus is on the man’s face and the low angle makes the man seem more intimidating.

This particular shot is a XLS, or, Extreme Long Shot from an Eye-Level view.  The focus is soft so to show the entire setting and the lighting seems to be at a normal level so that the scene appears to the viewer as being calm and laid back.
